About the mentors
Raquel is an international strategist designer working to help more companies go global. Her expertise includes project management, international strategies, international setup, global expansion, international sales, international branding, product fit, strategic planning and set up of international operations. She enjoys interacting with CEOs and helping them decide which market they should go to next, and then designing the plan and executing the setup. Currently, Raquel is working on projects with investment promotion agencies to support startups going global. She also teaches skills to entrepreneurs and professionals who need to interact with international clients and stakeholders. Her sectors of expertise include startups, technology, innovation, fintech, e-commerce, fashion, retail, infrastructure, ports, and government.
Giselle Hipólito - Founder of GiHi International Business
International Relations professional, founding partner of GiHi International Business, with a career spanning more than 20 years, specializing in international business strategy and development. She contributes significantly to training in the internationalization of companies, trade promotion and attracting foreign direct investment, facilitating public-private relations and establishing solid contacts with consulates, embassies, C-LEVEL executives, exporters, suppliers and international organizations. With extensive international experience, she has led Brazilian delegations on approximately 85 international missions, prepared market studies and developed sectoral projects. She has worked with multinationals, trade associations, chambers of commerce and small companies, developing and promoting sectors such as graphics and electronics for export, and solar photovoltaics to attract foreign direct investment in various countries, as well as the bilateral relationship between Brazil and the USA, through international training given by renowned global thinkers, with a focus on ESG, innovation ecosystems, and global strategy. She specialized in Global Business at Harvard Business School. She is certified by ADIGO as a consultant and facilitator for the training program: The Leader as Facilitator.
