We are pleased to announce the ‘Nucleic Acid and Nanobiosystems in Cancer Theranostics’ meeting to be held October 16-19, 2024.

The meeting is supported by the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB). The goal of the conference is to bring together researchers who share an interest in new technologies for the treatment of cancer. The event will provide an opportunity for regional scientists and recognized experts from around the world to discuss their work and exchange ideas in an international forum.

The hybrid meeting format will allow for both online and onsite participation. All attendees will have the access to conferences, keynote lectures and oral poster presentations. In person activities include hands-on workshops as well as social events.

The venue, Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo (ICESP, Cancer Institute of São Paulo), is one of Brazil’s top medical and research centers. ICESP is centrally located in the city of São Paulo, with easy access to hotels, restaurants, entertainment, and transportation.

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES (read before registering)

IN-PERSON PARTICIPATION

• The meeting will take place at the Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo (Icesp), 6th floor, localized at Av. Dr. Arnaldo, 251, Cerqueira Cesar, São Paulo – SP.
  
• There is no free parking area. We suggest you use public transportation, taxi or Uber service. The metro station Clínicas (green line – linha verde) is the closest to Icesp. 
• All participants should register at the entrance to receive the identification badges and workshop material before attending the meeting activities in the 6th floor.

ONLINE PARTICIPATION

• The event will be streamed live, and the content will not be available after the event. The online ticket does not grant access to the in-person event.

Recommendations for ensuring a good experience:

TICKET

The ticket is personal (non-transferable). It is essential to present an original, official photo ID along with the printed ticket or the ticket on the Sympla app for validation on the day of the event.

If you have not received the ticket (or registration) in your email, you can access it anytime through the Sympla app, available on the App Store or Play Store, or on the Sympla website (menu "My Tickets").

CANCELLATION

In case of order cancellations, the ticket amount, minus the service fee (8%), will only be refunded if the request is made up to 7 (seven) days before the course starts. This request must be made via email: [email protected].

The cancellation process is irreversible, and once you confirm that you want the cancellation and refund, the purchase cannot be approved again.

INVOICE

An invoice will be issued for all purchasers within 60 calendar days after the event.

The details to be included in the invoice must be entered in the Buyer Data field at the time of registration. Pay attention, as in case of error, you will need to cancel the order (according to the Cancellation Policy detailed above) and make a new registration.

CERTIFICATE

A participation certificate will be issued. The document will be sent by email to participants up to 10 days after the end of the event and will be available on the Sympla platform in the account registered by the participant at the time of registration.
