Este é o 1º Seminário de Moda e Dataficação, primeira atividade pública de nosso grupo de pesquisa MODATA, coordenado pelas professora associadas Dras Suzana Avelar e Cláudia Garcia Vicentini, do curso de Têxtil e Moda, da Escola de Artes, Ciências e Humanidades, USP. 

A moda pode ser circunscrita e várias perspectivas, entre elas, aquela formal, dos desfiles, tendências e grandes marcas dos conglomerados capitalistas, e também, a da circulação das imagens dos corpos vestidos e as produções subjetivas aí emergentes, que atua como elemento fundamental nas relações humanas, coletivas e individuais. Observar e estudar a moda pela perspectiva da cultura dos dados, da dataficação, é fundamental para contribuirmos com análises críticas dos processos de criação e subjetivação atuais. 

Nosso seminário será realizado no mês de novembro, das 9h às 12h, nos dias 7, 9, 10, 14, 16 e 17. Mais sobre o programa abaixo.

This is the 1st Fashion and Datafication Seminar, the first public activity of our MODATA research group, coordinated by associate professors Drs Suzana Avelar and Cláudia Garcia Vicentini, from the Textile and Fashion course, at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities, USP.

Fashion can be circumscribed by several perspectives, among them, the formal one, of the parades, trends and big brands of capitalist conglomerates, and also, the circulation of images of dressed bodies and the subjective productions emerging there, which acts as a fundamental element in the human, collective and individual relationships. Observing and studying fashion from the perspective of data culture, datafication, is essential to contribute to critical analyzes of current processes of creation and subjectivation.

Our seminar will be held in November, from 9 am to 12 pm, on the 7th, 9th, 10th, 14th, 16th and 17th Find out more for program below.
