The ICGSG 2025 (International Conference on Geodetic Sciences and Geotechnologies) is promoted by the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE - Brazil) through the Department of Cartographic and Surveying Engineering (DECart). The event is supported by the Pro-Rectory of Research and Innovation (Propesqi), the Postgraduate Program in Geodetic Sciences and Geoinformation Technologies (PPGCGTG) and the Center for Technology and Geosciences (CTG) of UFPE - Brazil.

The ICGSG 2025 aims to disseminate technical-scientific geospatial research applied to geosciences and the environment for the various Postgraduate Programs and Undergraduate Courses in Brazil linked to Geodetic and Cartographic Sciences and related areas.

The ICGSG 2025 will be an online event with live broadcast on Youtube. The event is open to the public. Registration and certificates will be free for registrants who attend the lectures.

The ICGSG 2025 will be a 1-day event with 7 lectures by international researchers on the theme of geospatial information applied to geoenvironmental studies. The target audience will be mainly graduate and undergraduate students, professors, researchers and professionals in areas related to Earth Sciences.

ICGSG 2025 will provide discussions on the advancement of technical and scientific knowledge in geodetic sciences and geotechnologies, in the context of geospatial information applied to research in geosciences and the environment. In this way, there will also be an incentive for the development of new studies in the area of Geodetic and Cartographic Sciences.

Registrations are open until 1:00 PM (Brasília time) on July 25, 2025.

The event will be live-streamed on YouTube and will not be recorded to avoid conflicts of interest.
