FESTURIS Meeting will take place during the Gramado International Tourism Fair, on November 8th and 9th. There are two mornings of content with about 20 speakers and an innovative presentation format that includes panels, interviews, lightning talk and round table. There you will find people you might not have the opportunity to meet at the trade show.
The new seating layout was designed to facilitate relationship building. You can now choose between VIP (tables and chairs in front of the stage with coffee break service and direct contact with speakers) or Standard (auditorium format). There will be only 500 participants. Don’t miss out!

GUILHERME PAULUS - Within the theme New Formats and Great Opportunities for Road Tourism, Guilherme Paulus tells his success story with the CVC group, a reference in road transport, and his vision of the future for the segment.
MALCOLM GRIFFITHS - VisitBritain’s director specializes in marketing communications and will bring the role of influencers in successful campaigns to the stage of FESTURIS Meeting, addressing the Love is Great case.
ANA BÁEZ - Professor, biologist, consultant and businesswoman with 35 years of professional experience in development and sustainable tourism. She is President and Senior Consultant of Turismo & Conservación Consultores S.A., a pioneer in sustainable development issues. Her work in Latin America has allowed her to be inspired and apply technical criteria with a holistic view in areas such as conservation, planning, management and operation of sustainable tourism services to protected areas, communities, governments, international organizations, the private sector, among others. . Their contributions are reflected in more than 50 technical publications, 5 books, various manuals and various interviews.
BERNARDO CARDOSO - Director of Tourism of Portugal in Brazil since 2015, being directly responsible for promoting Portugal as a destination throughout Brazil, in his presentation at the Meeting, Bernardo Cardoso focuses on the Marketing Strategies related to Innovation, technology and diversity that repositioned Portugal to the world, making the destination a great international sensation.
CAROLINE PUTNOKI - Director of Atout France (French Tourism Development Agency) for South and Central America and the first woman to take office in Brazil, as well as a businesswoman with a degree in Marketing, Enogastronomy and Tourism Administration. Caroline Putnoki will share some of the strategies Paris has used excellently to keep the destination at the “top-of-mind” for international tourists amid so many stunning destinations and effective tourism marketing campaigns. She will reveal the secrets of the “City of Light” that guarantee the maintenance of this coveted position in the world ranking.
BOB SANTOS - The National Secretary for Interinstitutional Integration will address the theme of “Road Tourism”, a relevant segment for developing tourist destinations. Bob will tell us what forms of increment, improvements and modernization the government has for Road Tourism in Brazil.
DEBORAH VILLAS-BÔAS DADALT - A visionary entrepreneur with a multidisciplinary career as a journalist, wine tourism entrepreneur, winemaker and Managing Partner of the Autograph Collection Hotel Wine Spa. GUSTAVO TIMO - Director of Development, Products and Destinations of ATTA - Adventure Travel Trade Association. Based in Belo Horizonte, it maintains strong relations with the Brazilian states and Embratur, supporting Brazil’s relationship with ATTA Global. Co-Founder of ABETA, Idealized and led the Safe Adventure Program, the largest qualification and certification program for the Adventure Travel industry in Brazil. World Tourism Organization - WTO Adventure Tourism Instructor, Project Leader for the International Standardization Organization - ISO, Head of the Brazilian Delegation for the approval of Adventure Tourism Standards in the ISO standards. Has extensive international work experience in countries such as Switzerland, Mexico, Jordan, Estonia, Canada, United States, Argentina.
MAGDA MOFATTO - Businesswoman and Federal Deputy. His business career began in a house of ancient architecture, located at Praça Mestre Orlando, in Goiás, where he built the Hotel Roma. Magda’s network and other businesses currently generate more than 5,000 direct jobs and thousands of indirect jobs. Its companies have real estate, construction, mining and agriculture segments. Always believing in tourism, human and work potential, investing more and more in Goiás. She owns diRoma Hotels Group. Already her political life began through the dream of boosting the development and growth of the state of Goiás. She was city councilor for three terms, State Representative for Goiás and Mayor of Caldas Novas, and currently Federal Deputy.
SILVANA BAGIOTTI - CEO of SB Congressos & Eventos, is known for his career in organizing fairs and congresses. He also serves as president of the Federation of Convention & Visitors Bureau of Latin America and the Caribbean, representing the Mendoza Convention & Visitors Bureau. This association is made up of 236 tourist destinations from South and Central America, which bring together about 15,000 companies.
HILÁRIO KRAUSPENHAR - Hilario, a man from the countryside, a farm worker, and now one of the most respected businessmen in Gramado. He worked in the main hotels in Gramado, working up from waiter to maitre. Eighteen years ago, along with his wife and children, he built the Bavarian-style Sky Hotel in Gramado, today a postcard of the city. In lightning talk format Hilario and his architect, Deisi Mathias, will present the “Sky Palace Hotel” project, the only one in Gramado built on the sustainable hotel concept.
PERDRO ACCORSI - Gramadense with entrepreneurial spirit, advertiser and graphic designer. He runs Gramado’s first advertising agency: S&A Market. 21 years ago he created the Display Card system and recently Concierge Gramado. Pedro will share his experience with the audience of Festuris Meeting, presenting a new concept in customer service that brings together technology, sustainability, tourism and culture in the same space: the Concierge Turístico Urbano (Urban Tourist Concierge).
LAURO JUSTO PEREIRA - Business Administrator with Post Graduation in Marketing. He has worked as a university professor and executive of large companies such as AMBEV, Atlantic Oil Company (current Ipiranga), among others. He will share with the public his experience in expanding the Display Card to other Tourist Centers and structuring Concierge Gramado. Lauro is a resident of Canela / RS.

ALEXANDRE SAMPAIO - Businessman with more than 25 years of experience in the national hotel industry, Alexandre Sampaio has shown growing leadership in the hotel and food sector away from home. He is currently in his second term of office as President of the Brazilian Federation of Lodging and Food (FBHA).
EDUARDO MURAD - Current President of ALAGEV - Latin American Travel and Event Managers Association, has over 12 years of travel management experience with multinational companies such as Siemens and IBM, Business Process Outsourcing, TMC and airlines. He holds a degree in Tourism from Anhembi-Morumbi University and an MBA in Tourism, Hospitality and Entertainment from FGV with an international extension at Ohio University College of Business.
JOÃO AUGUSTO GODOY CHAGAS MACHADO - President of ABAV / RS - Brazilian Association of Travel Agents Rio Grande do Sul - from October 2015 to October 2019, João holds a degree in Business Administration from PUCRS - Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul - with an MBA in Marketing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV from Porto Alegre / RS. He began his career in tourism in 1995 at BBTUR. In 1997, together with his parents, Vera Machado and João Antônio Machado, he founded Vera Machado Viagens e Turismo, an agency that today has more than 20 years of experience.
RITA VASCONCELOS - He was president of Abav-RS for 4 years and today is vice president of institutional relations at Abav / RS and Abav Nacional. In the travel agency market for 40 years, it has its own RC TOUR agency founded in February 1993. Graduated in tourism from Estácio de Sá College (Rio de Janeiro)
DEISI MATHIAS - Architect and Urbanist, is CEO and Technician Responsible for the company DMathias, specialist in architecture and sustainable construction. Deisi is at the forefront of the “Sky Palace Hotel” project, the only one in Gramado being built on the sustainable hotel concept. Together with Hilário Krauspenhar, owner of the venture, he participates in the lightning talk about this innovative project.
SILVIA SCHMIDT - Tax Management Specialist, owns the Hotel Paraíso das águas in Bonito / MS and President of the Municipal Council of the municipality.
