The main objective of the International Congress on Law and Technology - Data Protection, IoT and ADR is to verify the influence of technology in the legal universe, upon a global perspective. The world is going through a technological revolution, plus the current data protection scenario and the transformations to which controversial solutions are undergoing, requiring a lot of study and practice.
It was in this scenario that the Scientific Committee composed by Cláudio Finkeinstein, Franco Maziero and Walter Calza Neto, planned an event structured in three main pillars: (i) Data Protection; (ii) Internet of Things and (iii) Dispute Resolution.
The International Congress will address a pillar per day, starting with Data Protection, then Internet of Things and, finally, Dispute Resolution.
O International Congress on Law and Technology – Data Protection, IoT and ADR tem como principal objetivo verificar a influência da tecnologia no universo jurídico, com um olhar global. A revolução tecnológica pela qual o mundo passa, agregado ao atual cenário de proteção de dados e as transformações às quais as soluções de controvérsias estão submetidas, exigem muito estudo e prática.
Foi neste cenário que o Comitê Científico composto por Cláudio Finkeinstein, Franco Maziero e Walter Calza Neto, planejou um evento estruturado em três pilares principais: (i) Proteção de Dados; (ii) Internet das Coisas e (iii) Solução de Controvérsias.
Cada dia do Congresso Internacional abordará um pilar, iniciando-se pela Proteção de Dados, depois Internet das Coisas e, finalmente, Solução de Controvérsias.
On August 10th, 10 AM. Minister of Supreme Court of Brazil, Ellen Gracie, will open the event, presenting her perception of the influence of technology in the current legal context.No dia 10 de agosto a Ministra do Supremo Tribunal Federal, Ellen Gracie, abrirá o evento, apresentando a sua percepção da influência da tecnologia no contexto jurídico atual.
On the first day the focus will be on data protection. There will be three panels divided by region of the globe. Each panel will discuss the reality of several countries concerning data protection:
