DOMINGO 13/10* é dia de Lua cheia! 

Junte-se a nós para admirar o pôr do Sol e o nascer da Lua cheia num cantinho especial do Recife! Nosso ponto de encontro é no cais do Porto, na altura da Praça Barão do Rio Branco (Marco Zero), onde vamos pegar uma baiteira (pequena embarcação local), até o Farol da Barra, que fica próximo às fundações do que foi o Forte do Picão, que em 1910, após quase 400 anos desde sua inauguração, foi completamente destruído em nome da "modernização" do Porto do Recife. Já a pé, faremos uma caminhada leve, de cerca de 15 minutos, pelo molhe do porto, onde chegaremos ao ponto mais a leste do Recife, local perfeito para a contemplação do nascer da Lua, e não só dela, pelo caminho, além de contar um pouco sobre a história do local, você terá a oportunidade de presenciar a linda vista do pôr do Sol e observar a paisagem cultural, panorâmica de Olinda e isso da perspectiva do mar. Sendo um local de transição entre a bacia portuária e o oceano atlântico, às vezes golfinhos resolvem aparecer para dar um alô ;) 

Esse passeio só acontece uma vez por mês e é no dia em que a luminância da Lua atinge seu ponto mais intenso, além de ser no menor intervalo de tempo entre o pôr do Sol e o nascer da Lua. Imperdível!

Sugerimos uso de roupas leves, tênis ou calçado fechado de boa aderência ao piso. Para os/as mais friorentos/as, um casaco leve, ou echarpe, pode aquecer na hora da brisa do mar antes da Lua chegar.

SUNDAY 13/10* is a full Moon day! 

Join us to admire the sunset and the full moonrise in a special corner of Recife!

Our meeting point is on the wharf of the Barão of Rio Branco Square (Marco Zero), where we will take a "baiteira" (small local boat), to the Barra Lighthouse pier, which is near the foundations of what was the "Forte do Picão", which in 1910, almost 400 years since it's inauguration, was completely destroyed in name of the "modernization" of the Port of Recife. On foot, we will take a light walk, about 15 minutes, by the breakwaters of the port, where we will arrive to the most easterly point of Recife, perfect place for contemplation of the full moon rising, and not only of it, by the way, besides give you some informations about the history of the place, we will have the opportunity to witness the beautiful view of the sunset and observe the cultural, panoramic landscape of Olinda and this from the perspective of the sea. Being a place of transition between the port basin and the Atlantic Ocean, sometimes dolphins may appear to say hello ;) 

This tour only happens once a month, and it is on the day when the luminance of the Moon reaches its highest point, in addition to being in the shortest interval between sunset and the moonrise. Unmissable!

We recommend the use of light clothes, sneakers or shoes with good adhesion to the floor.  If you are very sensitive to the cold, we recommend you bring a light coat or scarf to warm you up. Sometimes there is a cold sea breeze blowing before the Moon rises.
