O evento reúne uma curadoria de especialistas do Reino Unido dentro da temática de cleantech e climate-tech, que vão apresentar e debater as principais oportunidades, tendências e programas de aceleração e investimento do setor. Trata-se de uma oportunidade única para empresas e investidores brasileiros com ambições de expansão internacional.

About UK-Brazil Clean Growth Connection

There are several opportunities between Brazil and the UK when we consider the clean growth economy. UK-Brazil Clean Growth Connection is a programme promoted by the British Government in Brazil with the ambition to connect the most innovative Brazilian solutions in this sector with the British market. This is an exclusive in-person Masterclass programme with the main Net Zero stakeholders in the UK and an unique opportunity to learn from and connect with cleantech business specialists and investors.

UK Clean Growth Background

From early windmills of the 1970s to pioneering a global Net Zero target and strategy, the UK has long blazed a trail in cleantech. Successive governments fueled this initiative with financial incentives and legislation, propelling the UK to become a global cleantech powerhouse. The year of 2022 saw record-breaking investments of £2.8 billion in cleantech, double the 2019-2020 figures, thanks to massive growth in energy and clean transport sectors. This surge marks the UK's commitment to leading the green revolution, not just boasting about its past.
