The fourth webinar in our Brazil Gateway series will bring you more information on The Ohio Program (TOP), an international exchange program under the Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) that offers global opportunities for international students and young farmers to obtain practical on-the-job training in horticulture, agriculture, livestock and turf grass within companies and farms all over the U.S. Pedro Pereira, TOP, will share information on how to apply to the program, tips for competitive resume and English skills, which opportunities are open, the possibility of paid internships and more.

Pedro Mendes Pereira, Environmental and Safety Engineer, currently working at TOP’s office in Columbus, OH, supports Brazilians through the recruitment process. He concluded his internship with TOP in livestock, working in the hog production for one year based in Missouri. Knowing both sides of the program, he will share his experience and tips on how this opportunity can help with your personal and professional improvement.
